This project is expiremental branch of Argus FTN Mailer,
originally developed by Max Masyutin from
RitLabs. The main line of Argus is discontined, but I have no plan for developing new FTN mailer.
This project intended for testing of new features, which can be implemented/available
in other branches of Argus. Naming of this project is result of exAr+ = exArgus+ :)
Features
exAr+ contain all functionality of Argus and have some improvements:
- Call tarifications
- Estimated/elapsed session/file time
- New poll management functions: pause, immediate call (a-la bink/+)
- EMSI enhancements
- enhanced compaibility with mailers like ifcico, qico and access servers
- EMSI send/receive in OEM codepage
- Hydra protocol enhancements
- filename send/receive in OEM codepage
- send/receive both filenames: short and long (FSC-0072)
- adjustable send/receive window size
- logging debug informations
- Outbound watching for changes (not rescan)
- Checking minimum free space in inbound
- Prority sesstings for main process and watching thread
- New override flag for IP nodes - PROXY
- BinkP protocol enabled on ifcico port
- Reorganized main menu
- Some program constants was moved in config
- Enhanced TrayIcon settings
- HTTP proxy support (Basic authentication only)
- Socks4/4A and Socks5 proxy support (RFC1929 authentication only)
- "official" bugfixes and many other little fixes ...
